In 2008, I was artistic adviser of the Concertgebouw for the spectacular Amsterdam India Festival.

In 23 performances at the Grote Zaal and Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw celebrated musicans and dancers from India were featured between 12 and 23 November 2008.

At the opening of the festival, Hariprasad Chaurasia received the Officier in de Orde van Oranje Nassau award.

On this occasion a double-CD titled Indian Music Today: Masters of Raga and Tala Featured at the Concertgebouw was published.
